Phoenix recently awarded Business “Superbrand” status, becoming the first plastic manufacturing company in Sri Lanka to be given this honour.

Phoenix Industries has won several awards and certifications in recognition of the superior standards adhered. The company is an ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 22000:2005 Certified Organization and we follow TPS and lean six sigma methodologies for continuous improvement. Phoenix Industries recently became Sri Lanka's first plastic manufacturing company to be awarded Business "Superbrand" status.

Phoenix was recently honored for its energy conservation initiatives at a ceremony organized by the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority which was presided over by Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne.

The Company received the Bronze Flame in the category and award was presented by the Minister of Power & Energy Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka at the second Sri Lanka National Energy Efficiency Awards, as part of the government’s Vidulka Energy Week programme.

Phoenix Industries has been able to achieve a 30% reduction in the total specific energy performance by way of investments made on high efficient hybrid machines and renewable energy skylights, in addition to electricity saving initiatives such as capacitor banks , rearranging of compressed air lines and chilled waterlines for increased efficiency, VSD for chillers and heat barrel insulation of injection molding machines .
